Karrueche Tran

Karrueche Tran (1988-    ) is a beautiful American model/actress of Vietnamese and Jamaican descent.  

Born on May 17, 1988 in Los Angeles, California to a Vietnamese mother and a Jamaican father, Karrueche Tran was raised primarily by her mother.  After graduating from Birmingham High School in 2006, she began working in retail at Nordstrom's department store located inside Westfield Topanga Plaza in Canoga Park, California.  From there, she became a personal shopper and then a free-lance celebrity stylist.  It was then that she met and started dating pop singer Chris Brown who had been involved in a tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship with Barbadian singer and songwriter Rihanna.  Karrueche Tran began her modeling career posing as the face of Lady Crooks, the women's division of the streetwear clothing brand Crooks and Castles, in the summer of 2013 collection.  She then auditioned for and won the role of Vivian Johnson in the web series, The Bay (2013-2016).  Her modeling career has since taken off with a contract signed to Wilhelmina Models in 2015 and appearances on the cover of various magazines such as Rolling Out, Flaunt, Ouch, The Hundreds, Cliche and Bleu.  Karrueche Tran has even been featured twice on Elle Magazine.  In the summer of 2015, she starred in her first feature film, 3-Headed Shark Attack.  She has also hosted several programs for BET including the BET Awards Red Carpet and 106 & Park.  At present, Karrueche Tran is working on a new television series, Claws, which has recently been picked up by TNT.  She is currently managed by Jacob York of Republic Electric.



From 2010 until 2015, Karrueche Tran was involved in a relationship with singer Chris Brown.  Their relationship ended after she learned that he had fathered a daughter with Nia Guzman in March of 2015.  At present, she has been granted a 100-yard restraining order against Chris Brown.
