Born as Ani Chông Phúc Hoàng on August 1, 1991 in Sofia, Bulgaria, she is the youngest in a family of three children. Her father is Vietnamese, while her mother is Bulgarian. After high school, Ani Hoang attended the prestigious Lubomir Pipkov School of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria where she studied to become a classical pianist for five years.
Ani Hoang began her professional singing career in 2011 and signed with the record label, Payner. In 2012, she won the Planeta TV Award for best new artist of the year. In 2013, Ani Hoang released her debut solo studio album, Лекарство за мъж (Medicine for a Man). Ani Hoang has performed live concerts for audiences all over Bulgaria, as well as other European countries with significant populations of resettled Bulgarian expats. She has also recorded several duets with other famous Bulgarian singers such as Kristiana, Galin and Azis. In 2013, Ani Hoang was cast in the role of Kim on the popular Bulgarian television show, Family.Since 2012, she has been engaged to Bulgarian director and singer, Ludmil Larionov.
